This story of an unconventional Japanese woman in the early 19th century examines the cultural and political changes in the country as it stood on the brink of a momentous conflict with the West.

This is a hybrid event with the option to participate on Zoom. Limited to 20 in-person participants. If you are interested in participating on Zoom, indicate your interest in the registration form and we will email the Zoom event link after registration has closed.
