Participate in a free, 30-minute exercise class. This class meets every Monday, March 20-May 8.
The Otago Exercise Program is an evidence-based exercise class that improves strength and balance. All of the exercises can be done seated or standing to accommodate a variety of fitness levels. No equipment is necessary, but feel free to bring your own weights or resistance bands.
While participants are encouraged to attend all eight sessions, sign up for the sessions you can attend.
This class is taught by Aura Espinoza, who holds a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Aura has led exercise programs specifically for people older than 60 for the last five years.
