Young Steinway Concert

Serge Kalinovsky, Cello, and Melody Xu, Piano

Our concerts feature talented young classical musicians. Today, hear cellist Serge Kalinovsky and pianist Melody Xu.

Serge Kalinovsky is a junior at Bloomington (IN) High School. He studies cello with Susan Moses and is a merit scholarship student of the Academy of the Music Institute of Chicago. He received the silver medal in the 2022 Louisville Orchestra Young Artist Competition.

Melody Xu is a junior at Naperville Central High School. She studies piano with Sueanne Metz and won first place in the junior division of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association 2020 competition.
