The History and Legacy of Filipino Americans

Curious about the contributions of immigrants to our shared history?

Celebrate Filipino American History Month with this service project to learn about both famous and lesser-known Filipino Americans and the events that shaped them, then create a slide about someone or something that interests you.

Slides will be shared at the October 14 Night Market at Oakton Community College.

For grades 6-12. We will have a few Chromebooks for in-person participants to use, or you can bring your device. This is a hybrid event with an option to participate on Zoom. Online participants will receive the Zoom link in their confirmation email.
