Low Vision Support Group

Connect with others who have been diagnosed with an eye condition or have a family member who has vision impairment to discuss current research, assistive devices, and community resources.

Limited to 24 participants who must follow the library's pandemic safety guidance.

This group is facilitated by a licensed social worker from Friedman Place, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and supportive services to adults who are blind or visually impaired.

This event allows participation in-person, via Zoom, and over the phone. To receive the Zoom link or the phone number instructions, call volunteer/accessibility specialist Dawn at 847-324-3185.
