Empowering Parents in Creating a Trauma-Informed Environment

This workshop is facilitated by therapists from Impact Behavioral Health Partners and provides a supportive and empowering space for parents, family members, and individuals.

Supportive adults have a positive effect on children, and we want to empower you toward positive outcomes for yourself and your family.

The presentation will cover Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, trauma surrounding deportation and immigration, and how to support yourself and the children in your life. As these can be sensitive topics, the presenters will encourage self-care throughout. The presentation will be interactive, with opportunities for self-reflection, sharing, and questions for discussion.
