Braille is a system of raised dots used by people who are blind or have low vision to read with their fingers.

It can be read on embossed paper or by using refreshable braille displays connected to smartphones and computers.

Curious about this method of "reading by feel"? After covering a brief history of braille and its fundamental components, practice producing braille using a braille-writer and braille embosser.

For kids age 8-12.
