One of the best students in her high school, Yuni has a rare chance to earn a college scholarship, something that is only available if she is unmarried.
As Yuni feels increasing pressure from the community to wed and conform, she also dearly wants to pursue her education and must make some difficult decisions about her future. This sensitive coming-of-age story was Indonesia’s submission to the 94th Academy Awards for Best International Film.
