Howard, a reclusive widower and retired sea captain, rebuffs offers of care from his daughter, Grace.

Against her father’s wishes, Grace hires Annie, a local woman of mature age, to be his housekeeper. After a rocky start, Howard and Annie eventually become friends, and then have a late-life romance. This puts additional strain on his complicated relationship with Grace. Starring James Cosmo, Bríd Brennan, and Catherine Walker. Directed by Klaus Härö.
