Designed for people with back care ailments and scoliosis, this workshop supports slowly coaxing your body into a more symmetrical alignment.
No previous yoga or Pilates experience is necessary to participate.
Linda Benton, certified scoliosis therapist, will share a short presentation before guiding you through yoga postures and Pilates strengtheners based on therapeutic movements and techniques using yoga for scoliosis/back care principles (to lengthen and derotate the curvature) and ScolioPilates (to strengthen).
All participants must be able to get up and down from the floor easily. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat (or bath towel), several hand towels, and a yoga strap (or robe belt).
