Friend Squad Volunteer Orientation: Teen Summer Service

We are seeking kind, friendly, and supportive volunteers for our monthly inclusive social group, Friend Squad.

Aside from service hours, volunteers get a lot out of this meaningful experience: it’s fulfilling, stress-relieving, and it can provide a new perspective about the many ways to be a person in the world.

Volunteers and participants can be in middle school or high school. Friend Squad meets once a month, on a Wednesday evening, 6-7:30 pm. We ask that volunteers arrive at 5:45 pm and stay until 7:45 pm. As a volunteer, your role is to help make Friend Squad a fun and engaging social event and help everyone feel included.

Trained summer volunteers are expected to volunteer with Friend Squad on June 19, July 17, and August 7, and we hope you'll volunteer through the school year as well.
