Skokie’s 2024 Juneteenth celebration features activities and performances for all ages at Oakton Park.

A collaboration of Skokie United, Skokie Park District, Skokie-Morton Grove School District 69, Niles Township High School District 219, Village of Skokie, and Skokie Public Library.

This event is part of “Love beyond Freedom,” a series of events about freedom and justice that builds on the history and spirit of Juneteenth. It is a collaboration of Crossing Borders Music, Chicago History Museum, The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and Skokie Public Library.
