Learn about and discuss fair housing in Skokie from both historical and current perspectives.

Hear from experts in the community, including a local realtor and a representative from Open Communities, a nonprofit organization that investigates fair housing practices in our area. Following the panel presentation, there will be an opportunity to join small group discussions.

This event was created in collaboration with the Skokie Heritage Museum and the Skokie Human Relations Commission.

This event is part of “Love beyond Freedom,” a series of events about freedom and justice that builds on the history and spirit of Juneteenth. It is a collaboration of Crossing Borders Music, Chicago History Museum, The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and Skokie Public Library.
