Young Steinway Concert

Emma Chang, Piano, and Emily Chen, Violin

Our concerts feature talented young classical musicians. Today, hear pianist Emma Chang and violinist Emily Chen.

A 7th grader at Sauganash Elementary School, Emma Chang studies piano with Andrea Schneider and has performed on gold medal recitals of the Northwest Suburban Music Teachers Association Sonata-Sonatina Festival.

Emily Chen is in 9th grade at Buffalo Grove High School. She is a scholarship fellow of the Academy of the Music Institute of Chicago and studies violin with Injoo Choi. She was the string winner of the 2023 DePaul Concerto Competition.

Free tickets will be given to those present starting at 2:30 pm.
