Kids entering grades 1-3 in the fall can take part in this online literacy program that promotes reading during the summer. Space is limited.

Little buddy participants spend four hours over four weeks (July 6-July 27) enjoying reading aloud and talking about books with teen big buddy volunteers, as well as playing literacy games and doing group activities. Space is limited, and the last day to register is Monday, June 29. Little buddies are matched with big buddies and meet in small groups on Mondays using Zoom.

Register for this event for the 4 pm time. Other times are 11:30 am and 2 pm. Meeting times are available on a first-come, first-served basis for 12 kids per session. Once you register, you will receive a personalized link allowing you to attend your requested session.

Although this program encourages reading, it is not a tutoring program and all big buddies are teen volunteers. Please contact Mandy O’Brien if you have questions.
